Last year the first few months of the year were covered in snow, this year they have been VERY wet round the edges !!
But markets are off to a good start and people glad to get out in the few sunny Sundays we have had so far.
This year two farmers markets that I attend have been voted in the Top 3 Farmers Markets In Kent…Rochester and Tonbridge…very well done to them :-) Decision time for a winner will be in March.
Lots of new jewellery being made all the time in adults and childrens sizes so please do come along to one of the markets or events that I am doing and have a look.
Feel free to try anything on :-)

Friday 29th November saw simplyTrue in the beautiful St. Mary’s Church in Goudhurst for their annual Late Night Shopping Evening and Christmas Fayre. Stalls were set up over the pews and the people of the village came and did the event proud !! As well as crafts, including glass hearts, beautifully hand sewn decorations, pottery, handmade chocolate and more, there was a book stall, raffle, lucky dips, games, cakes and teas. Carols from the children and again later from the choir made this an event with a real traditional air.
Sunday 1st December simplyTrue was in another fab setting. The annual Christmas Fair and Festive Market at Sissinghurst Castle. Chilly but a sunny day the stalls were all set up in the shadow of the castle. A well attended event by people of all ages who came to get some Christmas goodies, fresh food and supplies. Hot food and drinks, incuding some lovely hot chocolate. Stalls with freshly made pies, local meats, fresh fruit and veg mingled with craft stalls. On offer was vintage goods, handmade cards, art, carved wooden spoons and of course some handmade jewellery :-) Later in the day the choir sang carols around a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. A perfect start to December.
