SWEEPS FESTIVAL 2nd – 4th May Rochester High Street

 

The Sweeps Festival is a colorful mix of music, dancing and entertainment with more than 60 Morris groups and entertainers celebrating throughout the three-day festival.

The Sweeps Festival, 2nd – 4th May, lots of the children dress as chimney sweeps. The festival included the Jack-in-the-Green ceremony, a seven-foot character that the sweeps used to waken at dawn on Blue Bell Hill, Chatham. The Jack-in-the-Green walks with the chimney sweeps in the parade.

The Sweeps Festival brings the center of Rochester alive with music and dance.

You can find simplyTrue at The Sweeps Festival with Rochester Farmers Market on all three days…..we will have our Childrens Lucky Dip, with all contents made by myself…….we will be in the disabled car park next to The Kings Head Pub in Rochester High Street…..with simplyTrue will be stalls selling teas, coffees, hot chocolate, cakes, crepes, gourmet sausage rolls, pies, pasties, Indian Food, cooked sausages in rolls, breads and much more. Also cocktails made with local gin and beautiful local made candles.

ENGLISH FESTIVAL 18th April 2015

simplyTrue will be at this years English Festival in Riverside Park to celebrate St. Georges Day.

We will be there with Rochester Farmers Market and will have a super selection of adult and children’s jewellery and our Children’s Luck Dip at £1 a go

Lots of stalls and things to see and do….. animals, workshops and performers :-)

Great family day out…Free entry….Free Park and Ride from Dockyard…some parking at venue

Three fun zones…Countryside, Seaside and Village

FESTIVAL OF STEAM AND TRANSPORT

April 5 @ 10:00 am – April 6 @ 6:00 pm

Daily £13.50 adult, £9.50 child,£38.50 family, £22.50 adult weekend, £14 child weekend, £57 family weekend

This year you can find simplyTrue Jewellery at The Festival of Steam and Transport at The Historic Dockyard at Chatham.

This event will have steam displays including a steam funfair. Also hundreds of vintage and classic cars. The Steampunk Village will be there and lots of street entertainment and fun things to do.  Please go to the website www.thedockyard.co.uk for more details :-)

You will find simplyTrue in the Farmers Market near HMS GANNET along with many other Farmers Market stall holders who produce their goods themselves.

We shall have our Children’s Lucky Dip with us for girls and boys with all contents made my myself :-)

I am starting the year with making many new semi precious bracelets :-) I will be using lots of different colour agates and quartz….all of them very pretty. As you will know, if you have been along to my stall, I make my bracelets 7″  long with a 2″ extension chain. All the fittings I use are silver plated.

FAVERSHAM HOP FESTIVAL

You will find simplyTrue at The Faversham Hop Festival this weekend 30/31st August

We shall be in Preston Street in front of  High Funeral Parlour ( same place as last year)

We will have all our jewellery with us….. necklaces, bracelets, earrings for adults and a collection of necklaces and bracelets for the children :-)

The simplyTrue Lucky Dip will make an appearance …one for girls and one for boys at £1 a go
