News from the simplyTrue camp

As most of you know, im sure, simplyTrue has been around for 15 years or more, selling mostly in Kent Farmers Markets, especially Rochester Farmers Market and West Malling Farmers Market, and also at events around Kent including Sweeps, Dickens, English Festival, village fetes, fun days, carnivals, car shows  and many many more :-)

With the current suituation of Covid 19 we have made changes so you lovely people can still come to visit and see the jewellery. Maybe select a treat for yourself or a gift for someone special

Now we are in December and the frost starts to settle overnight.
Thoughts start to turn to the festive time ahead…..

My work table is starting to look very laden with beads, charms, cord, fittings and lots of sparkly things :-)

Lots of newly made necklaces and bracelets . Do remember that all adult beaded necklaces are made only once so ensuring you haver an individual and unique item of jewellery :-)

Don’t forget Wine Charms. Made in a set of six  with their own little organza bag to keep them safe and will be on offer at £4.99 These make a super Christmas gift or Secret Santa

Also my work table is heavy with semi precious beads to make lots of new bracelets and necklace. Each semi precious item has its own meaning card.

As always we have a selection of jewellery for children…..necklaces and braclets…and as with all other jewellery all fittings are silver plated.

I have hundreds of Lucky Dip to make for all the coming events. Priced at £1 it means there is always something the children can afford with their pocket money…..and a bit of fun too  :-)

Its now time for sunny days and chilly nights.

Autumn is upon us and bringing the beautiful autumn colours.

Reds, rusts and greens are seen everywhere we walk in the trees, gardens and under our feet.

Rust browns, including Mahogany Obsidian and Goldstone, are the colours of Scorpio, October 23rd to November 21st.

Even if your birthday isnt at this time of year treat yourself to a fab autumn colour necklace or bracelet.

Hope you have been enjoying the beautiful weather in the recent months.

Contrast with the heat of the day with pale sunset yellow or lemon jewellery in the evenings.

Pale yellow is associated with warmth. It is said to help with the memory and build confidence.

Pale yellow, including Yellow Aventurine and Butter Jade, is a lucky colour for Virgo, August 23rd to September 22nd

Hello Summer :-)

Gardens are full of brightly coloured flowers , fresh fruit is growing on the trees and the sun is shinning (HOPEFULLY)….

Contrast with the flowers and cool down that sunshine with some white jewellery.

White is associated with innocence and wholeness. White symbolises purity, freshness and peace.

White includes pearls, the stone for Cancer, June 22nd to July 22nd.

Spring is here – hopefully :-)

Celebrate these breezy, fresh and fertile months with some green jewellery.

Green is associated with nature and healing. Green symbolises freshness, hope and new growth.

February/March

The months that can’t make their minds up :-) ….. wet, dry, cold, warm, sunny and stormy

Warm up these months with some purple jewellery

Purple is associated with royalty and wisdom,  mystery and magic. Purple symbolises power, luxury and extravagance. Its a mix of the stability of blue and the energy of red…..what more could you ask for ;-)

Purple includes Amethyst,  the stone for  Pisces, February 19th to March 20th.

Firstly let me say a big CONGRATULATIONS :-)

As we all know this can be a very expensive time for all involved but help is at hand with your wedding day jewellery :-)

Pearls are just the thing for your wedding jewellery.    Pictured here are freshwater pearls. The multi coloured pearl necklace and bracelet can be made in different lengths. In the picture the necklace is 18 inches and the bracelet is 7 inches, both with a 2 inch extention………… The other photograph shows an assortment of freshwater pearl bracelets with Swarovski crystals included. They also can be made in different lengths. Pictured is a grey freshwater pearl bracelet at 7.5 inches, a turquoise freshwater pearl bracelet at 7 inches and a natural colour freshwater pearl bracelet at 7.5 inches. All have a 2 inch extention. This is just a selection :-)

All fittings are silver plated and the prices………………the necklace, 16 inch to 20 inch is £20.00 (longer will be quoted on request), the bracelet without Swarovski crystals is £8.99 and the bracelets with Swarovski crystals are £10.99.

I have freshwater pearls arriving all the time and, as with any natural bead, they will be slightly different colours and shapes so please bear this in mind when you order. I also have other colours coming too. Feel free to ask about colours and sizes.  Earrings can be made with fish hook or butterfly fittings too.

As with all my commissioned handmade jewellery I will send photos to an email adress if you can not come along to one of my markets or events :-)
