simplyTrue will be attending The Sweeps Festival. We will be up Boley Hill, opposite the beautiful Rochester Cathedral with other stalls.

Sweeps is all about fun, music (not just on the streets but in the local pubs too), dancing and maybe a small sample of the local ales ;-) Yes…..its colour, clogs and clashing sticks :-D

It has become one of the largest May Day celebrations around.This is a three day event centered around the High Street, Rochester Castle and Rochester Cathedral.

Wear you brightest colours, stick a feather in your hat and come along to be entertained on most street corners.

With no banks in the Rochester High Street please sort cash out before coming. There are a few ATMs but they do run out futher on in the days. Most stalls etc take card payments but when lots of card machines are in high use signal can become thin ;-)
